The Journey of a Lifetime – Mt Kilimanjaro 2013 

How does one climb a mountain that is 19,340 feet tall?

Step by step. That calculates to 38,680 steps with both feet. So we rounded that up to 40,000 steps.

That’s our goal at the top… $1US per footstep to the summit! $40,000 for the trip. All for one goal… To Remember.

There is more to life than just ourselves, our interests, and even our problems. When we stop "navel-gazing", when we stop our natural self-centered pursuits and consider life’s most important moments and motivations, they always reveal the powerful truth that real success in life comes from living life to add value to others! 

A very few times in a lifetime, we are aware enough to realize that there is an extraordinary opportunity to be larger in life than just ourselves. But as in any opportunity, the opportunity of a lifetime must be taken up during the lifetime of the opportunity.

This mission to Mt Kilimanjaro, and beyond, is one of those opportunities. An epic journey to do something truly monumental… to remember others are looking for someone to help them, to be champions for their cause!

We believe this heartbeat resonates in thousands of people across the globe.

EVERYONE can join us in some way! When you choose to step out to help others, you get the same reward as you being physically there! 

To even attempt this quantum project, we needed a mighty team hooked with us for the base.

We are pleased to report… our BASE CAMP partners required for this adventure is in place and those funds are providing for the Phase I of our training and travel.

NOW comes The Ascent campaign!

The Ascent partner team could easily be comprised of just 40 or more special groups, companies, non-government non-profit organizations and churches, and other people that give a one-time gift of $1,000 to support the actual climb, step-by-step up Mt Kilimanjaro. But…

We know that some may give more, some may give less, that it might even be completed by 1000 extraordinary individuals who band together to each give a one-time gift of $40! But we are confident that God will cause it to be established to His Glory!Every gift makes a BIG difference! Every gift.
